Hal Reed joins the iRely Advisory Board

iRely is pleased to announce the appointment of Hal Reed as Advisory Board Member.

The Advisory Board serves a vital function for iRely. The board consists of industry veterans who are dedicated to the mission of expanding business development for iRely. They provide valuable advice and recommendations, and support the implementation and globalization of iRely. Each advisor brings significant experience in loyalty and member relationships, which will continue fueling iRely’s growth. We are honored to have such a distinguished and successful person serve on our Advisory Board.

Hal Reed served as the Chief Operating Officer of The Andersons, Inc. (Nasdaq: ANDE) for four years, and retired as of August 1, 2016. He is now serving on the Board of Directors of Western Milling, and as an Advisor to AGR Partners.

Hal began his career with The Andersons in 1980. He held various positions within the Company including Financial, Operational, and Commodity Trading roles - before being named Vice President and General Manager of the Grain Division in 1997. Hal served as the President of the Grain & Ethanol Group between 2004 and 2012, and became COO in 2012.  During his tenure at ANDE, Hal served on the management team of a family business, was part of the team which took that family business into the public markets, spent a decade on the Board of Lansing Trade Group and served as an executive of a public company which reached Fortune 500 status.

Hal graduated from Miami University, Oxford, Ohio, in 1977 with a bachelor’s degree in accounting. He earned his master’s degree in finance from The University of Toledo in 1984. In 2005 he completed the University of Michigan’s Executive Program. From 1978 to 1979, he was an Auditor for Ernst & Ernst. Hal served as the Chairman of the National Grain & Feed Association (NGFA) in 2010 and 2011, and he has also served on numerous philanthropic Boards in the past three decades.
